Privacy Notice

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This notice explains how personal data is handled when you use this website, in particular when you send a message through the contact form. It is written to be clear and honest about what actually happens.

Who controls your data

What information is collected

Through the contact form, the following is collected:

All five fields are required, because they are needed to understand and respond to an inquiry. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking, so no browsing or device profile is built.

Why it is collected and the legal basis

Your details are used only to read, assess and respond to your inquiry and to manage any related correspondence. They are not used for marketing. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to a possible advisory engagement, and our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business inquiries.

How long it is kept

Inquiry data is retained only for as long as necessary to respond, manage related correspondence and protect legitimate legal interests, unless a longer period is required by law. It is deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Who processes it (hosting and service providers)

This is a static website. The following providers process data on our behalf or as part of delivering the site:

No other recipients receive your data, and it is not sold or shared for advertising.

International transfers

Netlify and Google are based in the United States, so some data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, it relies on the safeguards those providers make available for international transfers.

The Scale Focus Check

The interactive “Scale Focus Check” runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not stored, not saved to your device, and never sent to us or any third party. No result is recorded.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry data is limited to Karmen Grabnar Vovk.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Slovenian data-protection law, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these, email karmen.grabnar@gmail.com.

Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), ip-rs.si.
